Garland Mountain Sporting Clays & Grill offers challenging sporting clay shooting for both beginners and experienced shooters, along with spectacular views. Located in northwest Cherokee County, the courses are accessed by utility vehicles. Lessons are available for individuals and groups. Shotguns can be rented, and quality ammunition is available for purchase.
Cherokee Rose sits on 124 acres in Griffin. Operating since 1981, it features two sporting clay courses, a Helice ring (offering propeller-driven targets that simulate flying wild birds), and the latest equipment and accessories, including top-quality ammunition.
Etowah Valley Sporting Clays, located in Dawsonville, offers multiple courses. Operating since 2004, it provides clay, skeet, trap, and five-stand shooting, catering to both beginners and experienced shooters.
Tom Lowe Shooting Grounds, based in Atlanta, features a 12-station sporting clays course. Shooters can walk between stations and participate solo or with a group.
Rounding out the quintet is Bay Gall Sporting Clays in Garfield. Established in 2006, it boasts two sporting clay courses. Set on an active farm, the courses include stations overlooking ponds and fields, as well as others along wooded trails.
